Teaching
Dr. Yule began teaching at UBC in the Department of Anatomy as a teaching assistant in histology while completing her MSc. After many years of research in the field of breast cancer, she focused her career on education and began instructing anatomy and physiology to undergraduate students at the University College of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford. With the expansion of the MD Undergraduate Program, Dr. Yule came back to UBC in September 2007. She is now involved in the first and second year curriculum teaching histology and gross anatomy and tutoring problem-based learning to medical and dental students. She also gives lectures on microscopic anatomy to undergraduate students in Anatomy 390. In the summer, Dr. Yule supervises MD Undergraduate student projects and researches in the field of medical education.
